tell me what podcasts you listen to (all of them or just your favourite), and give a short sentence about what each of them is about. i am always on the lookout for new ones, as im sure other people are as well.
this will probably reveal how much of a nerd i am, but ill tell you mine anyway
TwoPlusTwo Pokercast (audio)- 10/10 - easily the best podcast i listen to. poker news, interviews, strategy etc. frequently have the biggest names in poker on there. normally weekly, but will run twice a week during the world series.
Good Game (video) - 10/10 - Computer game review show that airs on ABC2. very funny and informative if you are into games at all.
Dr Karl's Great Moments in Science (audio) - 9/10 - a short 8 minute or so podcast every week where he discusses a particular sceicne topic, from dinosaurs to cranberry juice to hyenas. very interesting. better than the JJJ podcast, although much shorter.
At the Movies (video)- 9/10 - movie review show as seen on ABC with david and margaret
The Science Show (audio) - 8/10 - the longer ABC Radio national podcast, also hosted by robin williams, details the weekly news in science. great show for those that are interested in science, and a little bit more advanced than the Dr Karl ones
Catalyst (video) - 8/10 - ABC science show - very interesting
Dr Karl on JJJ (audio) - 8/10 - podcast of Dr Karl's hour of radio on JJJ - i think everyone knows Dr Karl, but if you dont, he is very good at explaining everday science questions that people ring in and ask. he sometimes goes off in tangents that dont really answer the questions, leaving the person who asked the question a bit confused, but otherwise its good
Triple J - The Blow Parade (audio) - 8/10 - Andrew Hanson and Chris Taylor from the Chaser put this together - extremely funny once you get into it.
Best of youtube (video) - 7/10 - every now and then it updates with another funny/interesting youtube video - great becasue i dont usually go to youtube just to browse
Media Watch (video) - 7/10 - ABC TV media watch show - i like watching then catch out the commercial stations when they stuff up.
Ockhams Razor (audio) - 7/10 - ABC Radio national science show hosted by robin williams - shorter podcast, usually contains an audio essay on a particular topic.
Poker Road Radio (audio) - 6/10 - poker news show that runs while the big tournaments are on - will run 3 times a week during the world series. i was a bit skeptical about this show when i first downloaded it (joe sebok and gavin smith are normally on it) but it is growing on me. still nowhere near as good as the 2p2 pokercast though
Triple J live music (audio) - 6/10 - usually a selection of live music from their live at the wireless, as well as an interview
Triple J New Free Music (audio) - 6/10 - every week or so triple J usually make a new song from an up and coming band free for download
Star Stuff (audio) - 5/10 - another radio national science show, all about stars and space. not quite as good as the other ones, and pretty heavy going. you will need to be super interested in space to enjoy this one - im not, and i struggle a bit.
Triple J movies (audio) - 5/10 - very short 2 minute movie reviews
wow i just realised that i subscribe to a fair few.
*edit* decided to rank them

I should add that the first two links (both on the same site) both contain fairly adult content.

Re: What Podcasts do you listen to?
This is a great little thread. I'm always on the look out for audio books and the like for my drives up to Clare every weekend (I know Dave, Clare is a fat girl's name). On Scott and Dave's advice I grabbed the Ricky Gervais stuff and am glad I did. I'm now going to check out Scott's new links, but benny the cunt I'm going to seem dumb here mate. Where do you usually get these pod casts of yours from?
I'm really keen to get the Dr. Karl stuff and the 2+2 stuff amongst others.

That's nothing new.
All the Clare's I have known have been decent looking. One even cooked me dinner
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
