GIANT pandas Wang Wang and Funi may expect a bit more than bamboo and an air-conditioned enclosure to entice them to breed, when they arrive in Adelaide.

Pandas have notoriously low libidos, which have frustrated efforts to boost their numbers in China. So breeders there have resorted to tactics such as showing them "panda porn" videos of other pandas mating to get them in the mood.

Breeders also put the males through "sexercises" aimed at training up their pelvic and leg muscles for the rigours of copulation.
