you could also rename this topic so it doesn't sound like you are selling something.

Sooooo, re-naming it "Wanted to sell" makes it clear that he wants to buy something does it?

This is what i did. If you can handle an extra box sitting on your bench/desk then this is the way to go. Why spend $160 when you can spend half that. And you don't have to ferg around with any settings for a brand new modem (not that its heaps hard) just plug and play so to speak.

frikin heck,
wanted to buy not good enough, fur coat.
All I was trying to do is help someone off load some unwanted gear was that too much to ask.
Or should I start a Buy, Swap and Sell thread.
Oh well I might visit the big smoke tomorrow and visit Crime converters and see whats there.

A WiFi modem WILL be a WiFi router.
In simple terms, more than one connection of the same type possible = router. Same as if a non WiFi modem has more than one ethernet port, it's a modem/router.
And yes one of the options is to just plug a WiFi router (router only, no modem) into an existing standard modem.
Ebay should do the trick.

Have one, no box or manuals (all back in Vic).
Belkin FD6533 au? I think.
Might have to find the power supply for it as well in some of my boxes. Joys of moving around in WA.
Let me know if your interested.
