OK, after an almost 24hours of formatting the drive to "exFat", last night I put a movie on it.

I tested it this morning and the results are as follows:

TV that previously worked as an NTFS drive: NO FILES FOUND
TV that previously didn't work as NTFS drive: NO FILES FOUND

The file is found on my laptop and works fine via that drive.

So I'm thinking I'll just convert it back to NTFS and use it to store all my TV and movies etc after I have watched them, can also attach it to the good TV which is no loss.

Would like to try it as a Fat32, but I just can't find any simple information to convert it to that style drive, so I'm going to forget it for now.
