you wanted a deepstack... but then u complain about the length of the tourney?

sorry des,i wasn't complaining at all, i loved the length of the tourney

what i was referring to is the fact that the venue called last drinks when there were still 4 left on the final table, so obviously they hadn't expected us to be there that long

the tourney length was good imo

yeah i can only sound like a broken record but a big thanks to everyone, i had a ball (easy to do when you dont get one bad beat for the day and suckout hardcore a few times).

the whole day went off without a hitch. i would do that every week if i could, and now i can put names to faces aswell. 10/10

damn u todd and ur 6 on the river

still pretty happy with 2nd though, would of liked to pick a better position to put all my chips in though, was hoping for a bit more post flop poker but laura had the big chip advantage to just shove when she got a decent looking hand

Great day!

Had stacks of fun, vintage on tap isn't entirely unsufferable either :P

Was great to catch up with some of the B&G guys I hadn't seen for awhile (even benny the cunt lol) and it was even fun listening to Bob tell me how ashamed he is and how he wants back in to the North East :D

Congrats to Laura for winning, I'm never teaching you anything ever again (not everrrrrr) :P

Well done to Bacon (and Todd?) who came back from the death and went on to do well. 9T is one gun hand eh Bacon? :P

Well done to David and Scott for organising, lovely work that.

Thank you to Nathan, Dakota, Vinnie and also Glynn for helping out.
I'd thank the venue but I doubt they read this forum.

Caroline and Des, you both suck for not attending :P

In summary....

It

was

fantastic
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I must agree with all my fellow posters that it was one of the most enjoyable Poker events I have had the pleasure to be part of for a very long time.

Congratulations to David and Scott. You guys did a fantastic job and I must say it was one of the best ideas ever, and I do mean ever. To bring such a motly crew (other than Laura) together and be able to play some really excellent poker was a miracle.

Many thanks must also go to the TD's who gave up their valuable time to make it a great day.

Who can forget Nathan and his running commentary on not just every hand but every bloody card. LOL. And then continued with how bad or good the hands were played or bet, LOL A really great6 guy with a lot of character and made it so much fun.

Dakota, well there's only one Dakota and he just loves rivering people or seeing the most shittiest hand win a heads up, LOL.

Vinnie also has an uncanny way of rivering some poor bugga with the best hand coming in and the worst going out.

And young Glynn. Well it's the first time I have had the pleasure of meeting him and when he took over from Nathan he was like a MUTE!!!!! LOL.

Poor old AK was going through withdrawals when he seen Glynns hair. For those who don't know Glenn imagine Bob Marley's afro and put it on a white boy, LOL.

Well done to all the finalists and all who made the EFFORT to make it a great day. Next time will need to be where I can get something to eat. I nearly wasted away to nothing LOL.

One chef and 25 meals would have been a breeze to prepare and make the day even better. Thanks to the Queens Arms for allowing us to enjoy the day.
Remember, It takes 8 muscles to smile :D and 40 to frown :(
