I have a Nokia N97 and I am due to upgrade it in a few months, I will stay with Nokia perhaps the N8 or look at the E7 which is due for release soon.
I did consider the iphone but not for long its a toy pffft
What a load of crap.

Re: What Phone should i get
I have had a HTC Mozart windows 7 phone for 3 months now, had an iPhone, i find the Win 7 phone very good although you do NEED to restart the phone every 3 days or so (it is windows after all).
Not as many apps as the iPhone but the apps that are there are useful.
Question really comes to do you want a smart phone or a standard phone.
This is a very good forum for helping you make your decision http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/123
Good Luck

Re: What Phone should i get
my wife has a HTC magic running android and i have an iphone.
i like both, android is great, but as far as the actual phone goes, the iphone has a much better interface.
steer clear of any nokia with symbian, (not sure if any of the nokias have windows yet) they are horrible - nokia phones used to be great when they were just phones, the old 3xxx series phones are about the best conventional phones ever made, but they dropped the ball when it comes to smartphones, and pretty much everyone else passed them by. its not because of the quality of the hardware but their operating system wasn't good enough to handle the smartphone capabilities.
as for gundog saying the iphone apps are useless, thats just rubbish - of course there are horrible apps, probably a higher percentage as well because of the sheer size of the app store, but there are some apps on the iphone that are pretty excellent.
i have heard good things about the new samsung phones but have never tried one myself

Re: What Phone should i get
I think it comes down to what you want to use it for.
I do love the support from websites for the iPhone.
I use a site called Zoho.com for invoicing. It's all web-based, and there is a sleek, professional iPhone app which allows me to create invoices/pay off invoices all from the phone.
Email is brilliant on the iPhone, and from what I've seen, isn't far behind on Android phones.
I just don't like the scrolling/touch of the Android phones as much, not as good as the iPhone.
