LDP policies include:[7]
Legalisation of euthanasia and assisted suicide;
Significantly reduced tax rates and government spending;
Abolition of coercive psychiatry[8];
Re-legalisation of marijuana;
Support of shooters' rights;
Support of voluntary voting;
Advocate Free migration agreements with more nations (as already exists between Australia and New Zealand) and;
a general immigration tariff on immigrants from other nations to replace the existing quota system.
Opposition to corporate welfare;
Support of competitive federalism and political decentralisation;
Support of free trade;
Support of gay marriage; and
Support of property owners' rights with regards to all matters including smoking.
mix of right and left there, but after reading their official site,they are prolly more right leaning

Libertarian is liberal social policies, conservative (free market) economic policies.
I support the right of the individual to do as they choose.

Always feels like choosing the lesser evil - the Greens I guess, even though I strongly disagree with their stances on nuclear power and to a lesser extent GMOs.

not a huge gulf between the sex party and the LDP, philosophically (on social side) anyway. Not sure of their financial stance, must look that up.

i have voted labor at every election, but this one has been tough. it comes down to the NBN and the fact that tony abbott is a crazy right wing idiot.
if they had turnbull it would be really tough. but unlike you rcon, i thought his willingness to at least enter into a discussion on emissions trading was excellent.
similarly, i didn't mind hamilton smith in the state election, but when they got rid of him for redmond, i definitely decided to vote labor.
so your happy to vote for a party run by a loopy left wing idealist, with flawed economic policies and failed programs, only because they will deliver you the NBN that has no business plan available, a estimated cost of 43 billion, which I suspect will be in excess of 100 billion when fully rolled out.

the NBN when it has been rolled out in tasmania was on time and 10% under budget

be offended because I didnt tell you who to vote for, your post came across as a typical voter who makes a decision based on a big glitzy feel good policy, with no reference to the real policies of this election Economic responsibility, border protection, health, education and a tax policy that is a direct assult on employment IE the mining tax, a government which done a deal with the big miners but shafted the rest.
