iTunes: select the tunes, albums you want to add cover art to. Right click and select "Get Info" - first selection I thinks. Look for a box on the right hand side of the pop-up labelled cover art. Tick the tick box nd click in the album art square to select a picture. Adds art to each file to will display in Windows, iTunes, iPods, etc

Yes that works well if use the original CD and things like that. But doesn't always work for music found by other means. But thanks for the help any way.
Here's another quick one. I created a folder in music titled Singles in which I put individual songs. I created an Album if you will sort of Swankys Mixed Tape. But when I transferred the album to iTunes each song comes up as an individual album. Anyone know how to group these songs for iTunes? Make sense?

Like I have original CDs
You select "Get Info" not "Get Album Artwork" - works for all my creatively obtained music.
Just tested it to make sure I was right - oddly enough, you need to have several tunes selected to get the right pop-up displayed.

You can get the artwork even if you didn't use the original CD - it just uses the ID3 info so write that in
