The following is from the info emailed to qualifiers.

Day 1 will play out for over 13.5 hours and finish by 11.30pm on Saturday - BE PREPARED FOR A VERY LONG AND MENTALLY DRAINING DAY.

888PL Grand Final - Saturday 12/03/2011 and Sunday 13/03/2011

Start Time Day 1: 10.00am
Est. Finish Day1: 7.00pm
Start Time Day 2: 10.00am
Est Finish Day2: 12.00am
Buy In: $500 (conditions apply)
Start Stack: 20,000
Blind Length: 40 minutes
Prizes: Cash (expected $200,000 prize pool)

Website is correct, obviously the mailout team hasn't updated the letter.

Hi there

Can someone from Full House Group confirm whether we will be playing 9 , 10 or 11 handed + casino dealers in Grand Final (and also Friday night Bounty event). I haven't seen mentioned in any thread but I may have missed it. Gotta get the mind psyched up.

I realise everyone is very busy at Full House Group but will there be a seating chart like for last G/F posted on 888PL website or forum?

looking forward to event hugely.......cheers David.

This I know the answer to.

No, because it is being held at Crown they will be doing random seating on the day.

when you register they give you a ticket with your table number on it.


my guess would be 10 handed, but it could be 11. definitely wont be 9.

Thanks Ben.

Tassie people are pumped, it could be a Taswegian this year.
I saw Satanicus has his ticket and RoyTrudgey would be ready to win the whole thing.

There are a few more random types who will create havoc as well. At some stage of the tournament one of about 3 Tassie players could well be a massive chip leader after looting and pillaging. Could be very interesting. :o
