It's becoming really annoying when you use the chat area on 888.com. For example, during a simple conversation the system replaces HO and ASS and I assume other words that are related to American slang with these stupid little suckers *********.

Simple words that are used in every day conversation such as, should, thought, house, home, horse and Tassie assign, etc

So many things happening since the change over but this one pees me off coz as you know I like to chat LOL. Is it possible to get it fixed ASAP please???

Having said that, I'm sure someone within the 888PL group who monitor the "Ask the 888PL" may be able to pass this onto someone such as Garth to see if he can get it changed.

The likes of programed times on the 888PL compare to the actual start times on the 888.com site were also discussed on here and that too was an 888.com problem.

I just felt this was the most appropriate section to place my query.

But the HO & ASS thing wasn't a problem pre Xmas. So, either 888.com or Pacific Poker have obviously rejigged their sensorship approval in the chat section.

Unfortunately, for some reason it's picking those letters up in unrelated words such as I have shown in my previous post.

Yes Bob. That is what everyone is trying to explain. This is an 888 program change, 888PL had nothing to do with it, nor can anyone in the 888PL reverse the change nor is it worth our time to lobby 888 management to do so.

This change applies to all of 888 and it's INTERNATIONAL player base, not just 888PL players.

Guess they don't want David Hasselhoff as a spokesperson then.

Garth, I realise that you personally may or may not be able to do anything other than "create an awareness" to the 888.com Pacific Poker people.

That's about all one can expect you to do and hopefully like the current times mixups they too will be sorted out in due time.

I used the "ASK 888PL" section as I was unable to find the "ASK GARTH". I could have sent you an Email or a PM but felt the topic was a simple one and used the "ASK 888PL" to gain the attention of 888PL and other Forum users for an open discussion.

I'm not a stupid man and realise we & 888PL are using their site as a vehicle to enable us to play online poker that is associated with our 888PL competition.

However, by using the Forum it has allowed me to create an awareness and gain a response from someone such as yourself.

I am hoping that you may have some influence in getting the situation returned to what we had prior to Xmas. If not then my chatting online is at a loss LOL.

sorry to be blunt, but surely you cannot expect garth and other management to concern themselves with little things like this when big things like the website, qualifiers lists, dream team stuff, start times of home games etc still need to be worked out.

just take a step back and realise that it doesn't really matter mate.
