Can you let 666HARPS666 know why he has been removed from the Dreamteam Leaderboard as well as the away venue leaderboards.

Perhaps a question such as this might better be directed toward a TC or management in an email or private message via this forum. The vast majority of people on this forum don't represent 888pl in any way, so only a specific few people might be able to answer your question here.

Greg has been suspended from 888PL for his inappropriate behaviour and language whilst playing in 888PL tournaments online.

If he wishes to discuss this with me he can call me during business hours at our office on 9644 1600. We would have contacted him personally but no details were recorded for us in our database to contact him.

I refer everyone to the latest news story on 888pl.com.au where we have stated we are now taken a zero tolerance stance on this type of language and behaviour.

After a week of investigations and recording of chat in tournaments a total of 6 players have been indefinitely suspended from 888PL and 888 are in the process of banning them from their site.

We will no longer tolerate foul language or abuse of other players from those who wish to hide behind their keyboards and monitors. 888PL events are for every body and open to all types of players from beginners to experts. All 888PL players should treat each other with respect and honesty; we are all apart of the one community. And no single player should ever feel threatened or degraded when playing, irrespective of the environment.

I actually joined the table when Harps was venting his anger and tried to make light of the topic but that didn't work. Unfortunately, he went a little too far this time and I guess he's payed the ultimate penalty by being suspended from both 888PL and 888 events.

I know at times I/we can all get a little frustrated with how some people play "Home Games". And yes, unfortunately it can get under some players skin and the verbal diareah begins.

How frustrating is it to see a player calling all the way with crap cards even with an ALLIN and then hitting on the river??? Damned frustrating, but I guess we are all guilty of that from time to time.

And again, when some knob like last nights game just keeps going ALLIN every hand. Finally, someone calls with a decent hand only to be sucked out with terrible cards. And this continues to happen over and over again. It's like they have a cheat program and hit with any 2 cards.

Is it frustrating, hell yeah!!!!

So, why do they do it? I don't know. Maybe they get their jollies from pissin people off by doing it. But I do know it pees people off to the point where they become abusive.

But let's face it, some of the abuse online is getting out of hand and I say policing the site on a regular basis is definately needed. We can't do much about the poor play other than beat them, move onto another table or watch them crash and burn like they usually do.

That's all I have to say on the subject. Cheers from a Forrest Gump fan.

If im on the table, i want peoplr to play terribly bob. Just let them.

I was/used to be one of the players who would say stuff in the chat box, not personal, but more of a vent, but im happy to say i consider myself reformed as i can easily see how it can get out of hand. Kudos garth and co.
