Not sure if this is a once off but had a player last night sit down and request for people on our table to fill his cards for him !!!

I didnt need to oblige as a lad on the table did it know worries !!!

But I wanted to know if we should oblige or not for next time ???

It's up to you really, if your cards are full and you are going to purchase more drinks etc anyway then there's nothing saying you can't give your stamps to another player. The money is still being spent.

If he just didn't want to spend any money and was being a tight bottom...tell him to get stuffed

Really, it's like saying "Can I borrow some money so I can buy you a drink?"..

If you are already carded up why not help others to card up

We do it all the time

yeah i help other fell there cards all the time the pub still gets there money.

Its depends on you really, some times ill offer to after ive got mine done i dont mind helping up but its does get anoying sometimes when people keep buggin you about it.

Agreed! I'm all for helping someone card up if they arrive late or just aren't drinking the booze for whatever reason. Sure, you're increasing the odds of that player having more chips to take you down later in the game, but I still never mind carding others up when i'm full.

I think JT's point was that this guy didn't seem to be even slightly interested in spending a cent himself and just wanted to sponge.

That's not on.

But otherwise, yep, I'm all for it if you know that person is not just being a sponger and will be spending their own dollars too over the course of the game.

Poker Passports are an incentive created to entice players to spend at a venue. The rewards are a bonus for those players who support the venues that support us. If a player is not willing to spend at a venue then you are disadvantaging yourself as a paying customer, you deserve the bonuses as you have fully supported NPL and the venue to the fullest.
I would be slightly annoyed if a player I had helped stamped up and he hadn't spent a dime went on to win a tournament or at worst even qualified for State Finals.
This is my personal opinion and no reflection on the thoughts or practices of NPL or Sportspick or any of their subsidiaries.
