NPL and 888PL

I noticed someone talking about a NPL Aussie Millions qualifier tomorrow with 600 people and I didn't hear about this. So I changed my state on the 888pl website to NSW and low and behold in NSW it's still called NPL and sponsored by Party Poker.

Is the NSW league run by a different company? Why is not just all part of the 888pl?

NPL is in NSW, run by a separate company.

888pl is SA, VIC and TAS, run by another company.

Why not join all the states into one league?

Because they are separate companies.

Why not just join all the banks to form one big bank?

Won't happen.

FHG started a "franchise" of the NPL. They then had Vic, Tas and SA.
FHG also runs Sportspick, Big Tony etc.

FHG went it "alone" and reintroduced themselves as the 888PL with online/offline poker, etc.
