Player tracking on NPL.COM.AU

I'd love to see functionality on the NPL.COM.AU site to allow you to keep track of a group of friends.

Aside from the fact I think it is a little unnerving that everyone’s details are posted there, even non members - I mean, who wants everyone know that they are hopelessly addicted to pub poker! ;-) - I'd love to be able to easily keep track of people I regularly play with. I currently do this with favourites in IE.

Even if NPL can't provide this functionality, they could provide a web service to retrieve player profile/result pages. That would allow some of us more computer literate members to provide some basic functionality for everyone to create groups of people into more personal leader boards?

I guess this would be something similar to footy tipping where you group everyone at your work? It would also provide some additional incentive for members of your group to turn up and place well, and hence would drive revenue for host venues?

Anyway, just a thought.

The NPL site is built on DotNetNuke so it's definitely possible.. I could do it if I had access! =)

If you do get access big bro, make my profile hidden. Terrible start.

Great thread! Been thihking this for ages!

we already take the stats each week and chuck them into a spreadsheet but its has to be done manually everytime!

Also graphing averages etc... stupid fun to compete with your mates, would be great to have the functionlaity on the site like it should be

Hope to have a system of this sort implemented by mid Feb. Don't hold your breath though. But the good thing is eventually it will be implemented.
