but it doesn't allow us to reply :(

So here is my reply-
I know everyone is different but what I say here is how things work for me. I personally get up for work at 5am, drive earthmoving machinery all day and then return home at 4.30pm; to do this without feeling tired I like to hit the sack at around 9pm.
What this means is that the only freeroll tournaments I can play during the week is 7.30pm, I usually finish in the top 50 and this means I get to bed around 9-10pm, I would rather be finished at 8pm which means a tourny would have to start at around 5.30-6pm.

I do play money tournaments every now and then, but they start 30 minutes AFTER the free ones, and people play those money tournaments a lot harder so it lasts even longer.

If you check my record you will see I played a LOT of games in the last 2 months, that's because my wife recently had a baby (to which I hope I'm the father  ) and I spent 6 weeks at home on maternity leave. Now that I am back at work the opportunities have dried up. I really can only play one tourny during the week, 7.30pm, which has been known to fill up before 5.30pm.

I'm writing this on Sunday afternoon - and the next tournament is at 10.30pm!! I will be asleep for over an hour when it starts!
I realise that the Grand Final freeroll was Sunday night and that finished late, I was second once and that finished at 11pm - I drank a lot of Caffeine the next day at work! When this was changed to Saturday night I thought it would be better - but the starting time was pushed back 30 minutes!!

Based on that info I would like to suggest the following-
A) Make another tournament that starts daily at 6pm.
B) Make a Sunday afternoon tourny.
C) Change the registration time from 3 hours to 1; this is because a lot of players register for a tournament and then don't play. I have been on a table where I was the only player.
D) Half the amount of points given out for freeroll tournaments; I suggested some time ago to double the amount of points for paid tournaments - now I'm suggesting the opposite. I don't play money tournys because the points simply aren't there.
E) Bring the Grand Final freeroll to 6-7pm start either Saturday or Sunday night.

Some things to consider here..

Live venues will always have preference over online (Away > Home).
Timing is always going to be catered for the majority.

I'm often up at 5am myself, it just sucks to be us and that's all there is to it :)

phantom there is an omaha tournament tonight at 730

not shown in the holdem tab which most people would have their lobbies set to

secondly, you can never please everyone - through flex time, my normal working time is 930 till 6. this means that i can't play the 730 games, as they are usually full before i get home.

because i choose to start later though, the late games are an option for me

I don't play omaha as I don't enjoy it. :(

Totally agree but Garth has asked for feedback and that's what I gave him :D . If i'm in the minority then so be it.

But if enough people state this then things would change.

fair enough. i tend to think that the schedule is pretty great at the moment - 5 freeroll games a day is pretty good

Yeah nah.

Minority = minority.

Speaking louder doesn't change that :)

I know we are talking poker here and not life in general but

i couldnt disagree more with you pete.

Minorities quite often change the world ( or what ever they have in mind to change) and they do it by being louder than everyone else.

haah that's sad, but true.

Thing is, 888PL isn't the government and doesn't have to satisfy minority groups to get voted back in, nor should they :)

I'm an idiot, one thing I've noticed playing 888PL online and form almost every online poker place, I don't seem to be in a minority.
:D
