Last nights freeroll was full prior to 630.

Whats the chances of uping the 150 limit to 200 or 250

Seeing as it starts at 7.30, I'd say that's pretty good.

I think this has been brought up before - doesn't it have something to do with making points fair/easier to manage?

yeah. early games are supposed to be not that attractive for people to play, because then they wouldn't go to the pub

play the late games, the structure is great and you have plenty of time to register

great in theory, but there are a number of players who for what ever reason be it limited access to away game due to locality, or just want to play online.

In my case the next venue is 40k away, and for the last couple of seasons I decided to travel as much, thats m decision, but now with 888pl it give me an additional avenue to qualify for the championships.

Which would 888 prefer me playing my home venue, maybe accessing a couple of freerolls and buyin games or spending my money with another on poker provider ?

But as you know GD, you're in a minority.

You obviously realise that if they change this as you want, it affects country AND metro people and then metro people have more reason to stay home.

your point is also valid David.

Are the Freerolls actually effecting venue numbers, and what percentage of live players actually play on line, using my local venue as a gauge there would be 6 to 8 regular on line players of them 3 would be 888 regulars and the others would play on an alternate provder. Our venue numbers have dropped but its not because of 888pl.

A city player who loggs on at 6.30 on to 888 to play the 7.30 888pl freeroll, when he tries to register finds out that the event has topped out, would you think he will then hop in the car and go play a live venue, I think Not.

And just for the record I was playing the Freeroll and Buyin at Lunchtime, evening and late games, now I have tapered off to just playing the evening and some late games, buyin and freeroll.

Why wouldn't he?

aaron, gundog is right, i doubt people would then get in the car and head down to the local

but that is missing the point

the point is that the player made a choice that the freeroll online was more attractive for them to play than the pub game. this is what cannot happen in a league such as this, or else it will become an online league only.
