I do !!!

I'm sure stacks of other players do too after the massive success of Dakotas bounty game on Sunday at Pooraka FC.

What's everyone reckon? Similar sort of thing on a regular basis? quarterly? end of season? mid season? monthly?

I reckon Moose should be next to offer himself up...he's working too much lately :)

Would people keep playing them just to see me take the mobnies?

LOL jokes aside... I like the idea... maybe an end of season extravaganza.

I think straight flushes should be paid double too.

How about a double header - Let the challengers { read staff } decide !! - Matty Norwood will have time to sharpen his folding techniques !!
End of the season sounds good this gives time for promotional opportunities / sponsors /venues to build up to the day
--Monies and prestige worthy fighting for by the troops .

Venues could bid for the hosting rights Tony & the Pooraka FC have set the standard and a mighty fine standard it is too.

Go Grow NPL.

I must say that having a bounty game within a normal season game does have its consequences. I noticed that the winner of Dakota's game is now placed about 12th at the venue, having played one game.... Any regular players who play could get a big jump on any of their competition if they do well.

If it was at my venue, I'd love to be playing 180+ players and get to final table (in fact, I would've loved that anyway!!)

I think Garth should be the next bounty!

Thanks for the thought Bacon. Look out for a post shortly where I allow you, the players, to decide what type of tournament structure and format we play for our next one off tournament.
Unfortunately at Pooraka I didn't exactly give 100% as I needed to help Nathan and needed to rush home at the break. Next time though I will make sure I am prepared.

Great day, well run and a fantastic venue
My only gripe is that the regulars who patronise the venue weekly suffered on the points tally due to one event.

My suggestion would be to have a social bounty and fun day without points but still offering great prizes.

Look forward to the next one

All bounty events will be included as a regular tournament event. The extra points seemed to have a lot of people excited and I do believe it adds a little bit of extra pressure on regular players. Remember it was regular players who mainly voted for that venue.

On another note pretty hard to play tight and fold marginal hands and still make final table in a field that size hey Dave?
It's pretty impressive to work through a field of that size with so much action being produced by bounties and finish on top.
