You're a Bunch of Factors

Is there any reason why Satellite Qualifiers are not informed directly that they have got a place in a up coming event.

The reason for this question is because I stumbled across the fact that I qualified for the Sky City Main event and didnt know until today - which is a bit late now.

I'll let Garth handle this one, but as far as I know, all the qualifiers were listed on the website.

Also I think am email was sent out (if you had registered an email addy when you signed up to the NPL). However I might be wrong on this as I haven't won a tourney this season and thus didn't qualify.

Yeah I found it on the site today - but didnt know that I had to look there for Satellite Qualification.

I won in week 2 which is early I guess and try to play once a week and still didnt know that we qualified for that !!!

All qualifiers are notified directly by either email, SMS or both, IF they have their email addresses and mobile numbers added to the database. If they have changed then it is prudent to ensure those details are updated under your player profile. I they are not listed there then it is very important to update these details next time you see your local TD.

Im pretty sure I gave those detail when I joined but I will check it out maybe tonight !!!

I didnt get an email or SMS !!!

I got an email and a SMS for both the skycity qualifier and the mid north freeroll earlier.

I got both an email and an sms. I felt very special indeed

The main npl website *could* get updated much quicker with relevant news stories though.

The NPL main website is run out of Sydney I think so it makes it harder for updates.

I think things have to be requested, then approved and then done. Makes things a little slower I guess.

Tried to change details on the site but it doesn't tell you if it worked or not and you can't view what you currently have (so don't know if phone and email correct).

Saw the TD last night and got my details updated - he did say though that there was already info for me though !!!

So dont know what happened - just hope it doesnt happen again !!!
