Has the date and venue for this been decided yet? I know the season ends on December 23rd so that leaves the following dates:-

Dec 29 and 30
Jan 5 and 6
I doubt it would be held any later than that. Maybe Jan 12 and 13

Reason I'm asking is that I'm on holidays at that time and would like to go away and I just don't want to have anything clash.

are there prizes for 1st-5th of venues other than going to state finals?

As a general rule... no

However some venues will offer prizes. i.e. Palais is offering a cash prize for top 2 at their venue, along with cash monthly prizes and weekly cash prizes.

Best to ask your venue manager or TD.
