to do it, so 4 weeks on I shall.
If the Eeyore word is no longer allowed, then why does a particular staff member carry it as an avatar?

Dared to do what? Use the bad word at an NPL game?

Because Avatars are a reflection on one's position or thoughts of him or her self.
The don.key word is not banned, just do not use it when directing comments to another player, if Matty wishes to classify himself as one, then so be it. Well warranted I think.

i was told that i wasn't allowed to say that i don-keyed someone when i hit runner runner to win a pot a while ago.
and there used to be a player who's nickname was don-key, (which i think started because of poker, but didn't end up relating directly to his ability and was not really derogatory to that player).
it was banned for people to call him this nickname as well.
i think that if it is said in jest between friends, it should be allowed.
and i also think that ANY derogatory comment toward someone else should be dealt with with the same severity as calling them a don-key

Garth are you serious?
You ban the word in ALL NPL play as it is a derogatory from of addressing another player. You endorse the NPLSA Forum as a means of communicating with your players. You post that the use of the word is no longer acceptable on the forum or in tournament play and yet, your staff are, by there own choice allowed to have it as a representative symbol of themselves on the website that you promote your business and ideals on?
So if I chose an avatar that you might find offensive, but I thought was ok (I have a thought in mind) that would be ok, because it is a personal representation of my own?
And yes, in my experience, if a TD hears any word that sounds like donkey, irrespective of context or actual word said, that player has received sit outs. We supported the TD in his decision because that is the rules....now it is not? Especially if it is not meant in a derogatory manner?

Yeah, I've been told that we can't use don.key in any form. Talking about another player, talking about ourselves... the word literally cannot be uttered while at an NPL game. No exceptions.

I think "DON-KEY" is an umbrella.. for anything that berates/abuses/puts down another player. If they say that word, in that context, it's bad. If they say "F*cksake you're a f*cking sh!t player who doesn't know what the f*ck is going on" that's the same.

I think its a nice picture
Garth has psoted prior to my submission....{what can I say now !!

]
I believe its a equine derivative taken from Shriek the movie , I think Matty forgot to list the Sound Track from this movie as one of his favourite pieces of music..
Was Eddie Murphy the voice in this movie...
Eddie Murphy is a very funny guy.
Matty's dealing is also a LAUGH .. pulls in 'full houses too often....
