Hi all (ie Garth),
When venues close, are they deleted from the NPL database? Or do they stay for posterity..
For example, benny the cunt won at the Old Spot in Gawler. I can go and see who came second. 5th. 10th.. whatever that night.. and it would be nice if this information stays there?
Or, do the records get deleted from the site along with the venue?
David

Don't encourage him David.
On topic, I would like to think that the results do stay on the site. It would be a shame if they're removed.

Doesn't look like you can see the top 5 for Studio 89 on there, and it's finished.

Looks like the data stays there, but it is just removed as a venue so it's hard to look up results unless you know someone who played there

ha ha, it was the only venue I could find that I've played at AND has since been closed. It just happened to be one where I made final table, fighting through a massive field!

I agree that past results for venues that have subsequently ceased their NPL affiliation should available on the site somewhere.
