Think they are more for you Andrew I am no where near ready for any of these tournaments yet and due to this have no desire to win entry into them. You on the other hand already have the experience from this years Aussie millions and some pretty impressive results besides this so this seems more like something for you.


Side note: Having said this came very close to winning an entry to Aussie Millions a couple of years ago at full tilt. Was a major chip leader with 11 players remaining. Shoved over the top of a non thinking players bet with Ace King suited only to have him call with Ace 8. You guessed it 8 on the flop was shattered. Had only wanted to win as the package included coaching from full tilt pro's prior to the game

Not completely true to say that it in not possible to unregister from steps events. Those in the know have found a (profitable) way around this. Solution is to buy in directly to the target event (next step) before your ticket is awarded, unregister in then available

Chris, the point wasn't totally about the unregistering - but it is a big part.

One reason for wanting/needing to unregister is not just to be able to play that same level of step on a different day, it's being able to play it at a realistic time - which isn't even possible because they don't offer that.

Seems pretty silly to me, it's not like WSOP doesn't generate any interest.

IMO offering us steps is retarded, but have to say at least it was offered along with something decent so not the end of the world by any stretch.
