9 week season
Top 50 qualify
Top 5 at Venue qualify
Tourney winners who havent qualified would play-off in a last change shoot-out tournament in week 10.

Almost
Current system stays as is YES but for 9 weeks instead of 10
With less emphasis on the top 50 (reduced prizemoney)
Tourney winners qualified or not play off in a seperate Sit & Go comp in weeks 10. This is completely seperate from the regular season finals and played at the venues in week 10.
The winner wins whatever then progresses to either a regional final mid year then/or a yearly final against each seasons Sit & Go winners
For eg; Pooraka has 9 weekly winners during season 1. They play off in a Sit & Go format leaving 1 winner. Season 2-5 same leaving 5 players. Those 5 players now play off against all other venues 5 players in a final either a Sit & Go format or freezout Tourney.
This is completely seperate from the existing finals

Ahh ok, makes more sense now... kinda

Not a bad idea.

Personally I'd prefer a 12 week season to the current 10. 9 just seems way too short.

You could have the venues Sit & Go
Then the venues winners play in a Regional
Then the regional winners on to the yearly Best of the Best

I like it...

S&G venue champions take on Regional champions into a final .

S& Gs would create a side interest @ the venue --> hold the punters for longer enhances your poker skills even further

Can we wait until the end of the year until we start discussing changes to the format?
We still haven't implemented the full prize pools and new promotions yet.
After three seasons we can debate the format a little bit more.
But I like the fact the ideas are already flowing.
