My point being they don't do it again. Is a lot different to 1+ year ago when I got banned, People do realize they have done wrong & don't do it again.
The other day I was talking to some1 who's chat was off for 12 months & he has changed completely & was good to finally have a convo with this person.

I'm sorry, but weren't you the one advocating that a player who was suspended for abuse shouldn't be allowed to play in the GF at Caulfield as you were afraid he may do it again?

Whether or not someone is reformed or not, it doesn't change the fact that if rail chat is disabled then there will NEVER be an instance of abuse after a player gets knocked out online.

Just pointing it out. He was (correctly) suspended for abuse, and once his suspension was served you still viewed him as someone who could possibly abuse someone again based on your experiences with him. Correct?

Now your saying that most people you find online don't abuse anyone once they've been told off once. Which is completely based on what? It shouldn't be occuring anyway, as abuse is NOT TOLERATED AT ALL.

What I'm saying is if we can prevent that situation from ever occuring is that not preferable?

Caleb he was banned during the 6 months leading up to the G/F & the decision was to allow him to play."which I had no problem with" I was just pointing out the rules as they were written on the 888pl website. Which have now been updated."Thanks to my input"

Good News everyone,

I have heard back from 888Poker already and it seems that there was a serious issue with 888's Gibraltar ISP's which wreaked havoc on their network over the weekend.

A formal announcement will be released tomorrow but in the meantime here are some of the details.

888 have agreed to compensate all of 888PL's players (who were affected) in the following way. Every player listed will receive an entry into each tournament (all the details will be listed in the apology email that 888 will dispatch within the nest 24 hours).

The tourneys are:

Tourney name : “888PL OC Freeroll”
When : Saturday April 9th at 10AM GMT Need to convert this int AEST
Prize : $2,500 GNTD
Registration starts 48 hr before

Tourney name : “WSOP Step 1”
When : April 10th 10:05 GMT, AEST as well
Buy-in : $5.50
Prize : 1 in 5 win a seat to WSOP step 2
Registration starts 48 hr before


NOTE: Freeroll will not be viewable for at least a day and you will not be able to register until the day before.

The following usernames will be the only usernames able to register for the 888PL exclusive freeroll as well as receive a WSOP step 1 entry.

Yes I have been caught Pete my husband registered me in a step tournment which after a few steps I ended up being in a $500 tournament I could only play for 2 hours before work. He offered to finish off for me but all I had was visions of being banned for life for cheating To cut a long story was in a $500 tournament where I had to try and take everyone out very quicky. Did not work
