Re: non-thinking player ?

Des, you must be in dream land to think I'm a Nazi of any description. However I do like to read some of the post that I find to be of interest and Tracy's was one of them. :D

My reply to her post was never intended to belittle or make Tracy feel uncomfortable in any way. I was only suggesting her Post may have read a little better had she broken it up a little here and there.

I do think that 80 plus words in a single sentence is a little over the top, and that 200 or more words in a single paragraph is a little too long. I'm sure she'll let me know if I over stepped the line. ;)

benny the cunt, I realise you are joking, but I use UPPER CASE and bold to make either headings or highlight items that I want to stand out more than normal.

It's just the way I was taught to write as I grew up well before people had computers. And if you wrote in bold or UPPER CASE you weren't "YELLING" you were making a point, LOL.

And yes, AK you are so right in saying the addition of good "GRAMMER" on the Forum works so nicely when trying to read some of the Posts on here. You actually write very well and I find your posts to be quite enlightening. :D

So boys. Maybe as "MODERATORS" you could turn your unquestionable talents :o towards editing some of the poorly written posts so they are more legible. And maybe leave some of the touchy, feely, stories that are sometimes removed.  :o :?

Bob, if you want to pay my wages I'd happily spend the 8 hours a day it would require to do just that :P
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

you're right bob, just having a joke

but in internet land, changing font size, putting things in bold, and typing all in capital letters are used for emphasis, especially when someone is really pissed off. not saying that's the way you use this type of emphasis, but a lot of people do.

lol if everyone could write grammer good and stuff, then the world would be a better place :D

imagine what would happen if all the nerds in the world (like me) actually learned to write as well!
