Event has kicked off with 34 players.....good luck to those who managed to register (me)
Based on 5 days (not sure on this) of qualifiers, numbers should have been......
freeroll seats = 15 (3 per event)
$1.10 seats = 25 (5 per event)
$3.30 seats = 50 (10 per event)
Assume a few players qualified twice.....seems we may be around 45-50 short?

just a quick heads up for next weeks game
the final table just started heads up play, just before 1 in the morning. the playing is completely different to any of the other 888pl games.
so if your playing next week, just be aware that you could be in for a very late night!
(unfortunately i was just knocked out in 3rd

I placed in a $3.30 tourney. Tried to register right up until start time. Won't be doing that again! ~Not happy!
Would of loved to of been amongst it. Heard it was a really well played tourney by all. Congrats to the final few and beststroller for taking down the ticket

Re: 888PL Holidays Grand Final...December 27th
Have to agree everyone that played last night was extremely good and am sure anyone of the final 6 or 7 could have won it.
Dont think any won was eliminated for about 1 1/2 after 8 place player went.
No all ins or chasers and made for a really good tourney and 5 1/2 hours well spent.
Not sure if the two step process weeded out the poor players but certainly seemed that way.
Just a quick suggestion though.
In the Step 1 maybe have harder qualifying, such as
$1 one GF place
$3 3 GF place
$5 5 GF place.
Just have the step 1 playing for places and not the money as well, as the GF gave away $1000 for basically a free roll as 888Pl didnt retain any of the money generated from Step 1.
Just an idea.
Thanks all for a great night though!.

Sounds like it was a great night!
I tried to register right up to kick-off, but no luck, which is a bit frustrating.
But played another one to register for next week, top 5 places got a seat, I finished 2nd and can't register again!!
