PARTY POKER CARDS, DAMMIT!

Gotta go with a bracelet for ME winners. THAT is a one of a kind, that can be worn to regular NPL events, and shown off. Hell, even in the line at Coles.

"Oh that's a pretty bracelet."
"You should see the $10k that came with it."

Some ideas (for larger events, final tabling a regional event perhaps)
- Cash! ;)
- Copag/Party Poker cards.
- Subscription to Bluff.

Weekly tournys:
- Glasses? The cup kind.
- Entry into a freeroll to win a high quality poker table (could be a 4 week promo).
- BLUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Will add more later.

good sets of cards - the party poker ones are AWESOME

maybe you could have a variety of things.

i.e winner gets a prize to the value of 20 bucks. they could choose a hat or, deck of cards or, key ring, glasses, etc etc. this way doubling up is not as much of a problem (although the cost will probably go up as items wont be in as bigger quantities).

sterling silver bracelet for the states winner would much better than a trophy, because its in true poker style.

coasters would be awesome as well

Let's say you play forty games per season you qualify for a polo, if someone plays forty plus games in a season and finish with an average highers than 50 then they receive a jacket or something.
Nice on the polos, but keep something in reserve for those who have won multiple tourneys :D

My only concern with opening it up to "ave above 50" would be that too many would qualify for this and we'd end up with jackets of similar quality to the last lot of hats. Superficially looked ok, but all out of shape when you actually tried it on. Personally, I'd rather it be harder to win and better quality when I actually got there.

On the issue of cards, I'm not a fan, as I subscribe to the theory you can have too many decks of cards - no time for home games, too busy playing NPL ;-)

bacon, you can NEVER have too many cards

secondly, how many times has anyone averaged above 50 in a season, on proper average, not best 10?

Good point, I automatically assumed best 15 games.

Chatting to players around me at the table, it has been said on several occassions that the Aces and Kings card protectors were always popular, they are even wanting to collect them in the Queens, Big Slick.. etc... moreso than the wrist band.

Also cards are VERY popular also, as many are getting more and more involved in home games.

Ohhh and for the record, I could have a gazzillion keyrings and would still love to collect more... lol
