Happy?

That's only 4 FTT chips.

Could you stake someone? Either purposely or not? Easy way to get around it, just pull up a players stats and count the number of FTT chips they should have to the number they have provided.

The whole thing could be done via the database, but I think the tokens are so we can throw them at each other when we get knocked out.
We've how about links I would like to know I walk the line scrunches line at how the client Lawrence etc. etc.

I imagine that the tokens are there for 2 purposes:
-reward someone for making the final table, ie a token prize (aimed at people who don't play regularly)
-the buy in tournament idea, (aimed to reward multi final table players)

Having said that, going off the database to see whether people can buy in would eliminate people staking a player's buy in, unless this is something that should be allowed. I guess by players having to return their chips for the buy-in, NPL can reuse these as prizes in normal NPL tournaments after the buy-in tournament and therefore doesn't have to buy 130x5x10x9=58500 tokens each year, this could be reduced by half(?). Genius idea!

Staking will not be permitted.

FTT database will be used as confirmation of buy in's.

It means that we just monitor those who play, a physical redemption for entry is just easier to maintain. I won't go into the details.

Be prepared for an exciting competition structure in 2009.

I'm excited!!!!!

Sounds awesome Garth, I can't wait. So the first FTT buy-in tourney will be next year?

BTW, it's great to see you on here more recently keeping us up to date.

edit: FTT buy-in

You might see a little bit more activity over the coming months as Victorians and Tasmanians join the NPL forum family.

Plus my workload has decreased slightly allowing me more time to tart it up on the forum.

I agree with Mr Nice-guy, it's nice to see you back on here Garth.

Will there be a limit to the FTT?

Or, is it designed to create more interest for the punters in trying to make more final tables to gain the extra FTT's to gain a bigger stack on the day?

FTT's will be used as a currency for entry into tournaments, not for chip stack sizes.

So to enter oh let's say a 4K Mixed Hold em event it might be 5 FTT's.

Or for entry into an Aussie Millions Satellite 10 FTT's.

Or for entry into a teams event with a guaranteed $4,000 Prize pool, 5 FTT's.

Stuff like that.
