not sure if i agree with you there benny the cunt

I think there is a very big advantage to pulling the button or close to it in the final table, there is usually at least 1 blind raise sometimes 2 depending on the table before it gets to that position,

Have a think back over some of your final tables and i would reckon that a great % of them would loose at least 1 or 2 and as many as 4 players in the first rotation of the table, usually all those poor short stacks that also manage to pull the blinds straight up.

so all of a sudden you are down 4-6 players and you havent paid a blind yet, and are able to just sit there, all the while waiting for your premium cards.

mabey its just coinicidence but i have all ways done better on final tables when i am started with a few hands from the blinds.

position definitely does have an effect, but waiting in late position for good cards gives you maybe 4 more hands than other people. while this is good, it is still down to luck as to whether you get come cards.

position is just another part of the variance that occurs with short stacks and big blinds, so is just something that we all have to live with.

I never like to pick my card first. In fact I prefer to just leave it till there are only 1 or 2 cards left and hopefully the 2, 3 and 4 spots are already gone.

not sure i can agree with that statement either

your the maths wizz so im sure you can put this better but i thought the odds of hitting a good hand would be better the more hands you play or are alowed to play before you get you blind and are blinded out

1 or 2 chances to get good cards as opposed to 6 or 7 sounds like odds not luck

but then again i may be wrong i often am and am man enough to admit it :D
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

I put the colours in my self trying to highlight the phrase i was quoting but it was the editing of the quote itself i always seem to stuff up and endup not having a quote bubble

Just make sure you leave those square brackets the hell alone and it'll quote just fine :)
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!
