Haha, really? That's so stupid. Even DNP's are counted? Wow. It should be your average over 3 games.

why is that stupid? the whole point is to give the insane-gamers something in return for all the money they give to NPL every week, not for someone to jag 3 wins in a week from his 3 games.

makes perfect sense to me, and i think its a good idea from the NPL

I can see the reasoning behind it, of course, and I can see why NPL are starting something like this - its good to give something back to the players. Just saying I don't agree with it. Counting DNP's, and every game played during the week, promotes, well... just playing NPL. There's little skill involved. Hardly a "Player Of The Week" leaderboard - more of a "I played the most games this week" thing.

So is the player of the week someone who shows up the most AND gets in the points enough of the time to say they did ok?

It *sounds* more like an NPL supporter of the week award :)
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

player of the week needs to play three games in the week..

highest points wins...

senario city player players large venue wins 98pts one night one game 88 runners plays two more games DNP and maybe 14th a venue and wins 28pts. total 126pts.

ctry player plays and wins all three venues..... 44pts ... (34 runners), 40 pts ( 30 runners ). 41pts (31 runners) total 125pts.

player of the week city player.

I just read this. Is this true? ie: Is it every game you point, not your best 3? And the highest total wins?

I don't know where I got the idea of a best 3 games from... :? Nobody corrected me though, I've been talking about it for a few days.

I wanted too AK but your so nice to me so I thought.......what the hell let the boy feel he's right and JJ can feel good too. ;)
