$2/3 Crown Cash Tables.
On a great table, half the people know what they are doing, half don't. This hand contains one of each (and me!)
Me $700ish (recently doubled up when my full house met the big stacks nut flush woooohoooo)
Good Player $300ish
Bad/Inexperienced Player $300ish
The two players are friends.
Good player raises to $9, Bad Player calls (SB), I call (BB) [ Qc ] [ 10s ]
Flop [ As ] [ Kc ] [ Jh ]
(can I get a woop woop??)
SB bets $20
Me Call $20
GP Call $20
Turn [ 5s ]
SB bets $25
Me calls $25
GP calls $25
River [ Ks ]
SB checks
Me bets $55
GP raises $155
SB sigh folds after a speech
Me ?
Likely holdings of Good Player please.
&
What holdings do my actions represent to him?

For what it's worth I would probably re-raise on the turn to build the pot and price out some draws. Pot is $112. If you 3 bet to $100 and then get one caller th pot is nearly $300 on the turn and you set yourself up for a nice river shove.
I think if player had AK or JK he would have probably raised the turn so I am saying he has these hands not so often. Kx type hands are definitely possible KQ,K10.
The way your betting has gone it looks like AQ or a weakish ace happy to get to showdown.

sigh call
i hope he has ace jack and not ace king,
but if he is the good player you spoke of then i would hope he would be betting that flop with ak.

Yah if its a mid-late position on softish table could be a wide range of suited connectors.. pockets Ax..
Personally I think you should have re-raised any bet on turn.. that way you might have a better idea on where u stand... His bet looks like it was in position, hard to tell what he might have had... he didn't re-raise with 2 spades on the board, and the flat call says he has something.. Either way I don't think you said you had anything.. which gives him a good opportunity to re-raise on the flushed board. I'm not really putting him on a flush more likely A-Q A-J.
Was your play different to the book that you had early, have you folded to re-raises, I guess i would be making note of those sorta things.. You've percieved him as a good player, how does he see you?

9 10s or 89s
Possibly K J, T Q. A k
55's
Probably go 40% pocket 5's
20% on suited spade connectors.
10% AK
10% KJ
20% air.

40% of the time he has 55 but 20% of the time he has air?
In a cash game of this type he has air about 1% of the time.
He has two pair, set, str8's and flushes about 99% of the time.
