What position was the good player sitting in?

For what it's worth I would probably re-raise on the turn to build the pot and price out some draws. Pot is $112. If you 3 bet to $100 and then get one caller th pot is nearly $300 on the turn and you set yourself up for a nice river shove.

I think if player had AK or JK he would have probably raised the turn so I am saying he has these hands not so often. Kx type hands are definitely possible KQ,K10.

The way your betting has gone it looks like AQ or a weakish ace happy to get to showdown.

i hope he has ace jack and not ace king,
but if he is the good player you spoke of then i would hope he would be betting that flop with ak.

yeah i raise turn here too. Makes it so much easier to get it in on the river.

Yah if its a mid-late position on softish table could be a wide range of suited connectors.. pockets Ax..

Personally I think you should have re-raised any bet on turn.. that way you might have a better idea on where u stand... His bet looks like it was in position, hard to tell what he might have had... he didn't re-raise with 2 spades on the board, and the flat call says he has something.. Either way I don't think you said you had anything.. which gives him a good opportunity to re-raise on the flushed board. I'm not really putting him on a flush more likely A-Q A-J.

Was your play different to the book that you had early, have you folded to re-raises, I guess i would be making note of those sorta things.. You've percieved him as a good player, how does he see you?
