The minimum raise is always double the amount of the previous bet/raise.
if blinds are 100/200, then a minimum raise is to 400. For the next player, the minimum raise would be to 600 (200 more, i.e. double the previous raise which was alo 200 more).
e.g. blinds were 25/50 and a player raised to 200 (a raise of 150 more) then the min raise for the next player would be to 350.
Post flop it is the same principle. A player needs to at least double the previous raise.
i.e. blinds 400/800. two players call to see a flop.
first player bets 900, the next person can raise to 1800 or higher. Lets say they raise to 2000 (1100 more). The min raise for the next person would be to 3100 (doubling the amount of the previous raise).
make sense?

G'day little Mac , what if they are 1st to act post flop does this change . ie, can they bet 300 if the blinds are 100/200 ?
ps , had a 1st timer the other night she folded Q J post flop after hitting both , because player too act before her went all in 12,000 , she only had 7,600 . & thought she couldn't call because she didn't have as many chips as he did . shame she didn't know
