Currently playing in a freeroll limit tourny on party poker as practice for a 60k GTD i won a seat to. Any thoughts would be nice. Will post interesting hands tommorow.

Couldn't get this to work, keep saying cant determine file format

Limit is patience. Value your draws within reason.

Save a bet here, push a bet there. Very slow game.

thanks brett, i have played a little bit here and there. Seem to run deep consistantly and cash, but rarely push on for the final table. so thought a little hand discussion would be a good idea.

not because you got sucked out on, but because its LIMIT!!!

First hand.

Check raise the flop. Pretty much trying to extract value. Betting gives everyone a chance to call behind which they did.

Check raise means you get an extra 3200 in the pot from both callers.
Or take the hand down early.

Second hand.
Same deal. Induce the bet from them so that they can reraise earlier. As played calling pre is ok. Check raise flop, lead turn.

This is where the saving and gaining bets come from. You can't play it passive like holdem, you want people to put extra money in.

Another reason to get more money in with the check raise line is pre and flop, are both 1 bb, whereas the turn and river are 2bb.

So getting and extra bb into the pot earlier means you can take it uncontested and not getting sucked out on, or you get that extra value with a solid showdown hand.

Read this post and decided to play the ftops fixed limit tournament and guess what. I took at my first pro woop woop. Down to about 120 players with top 72 paying. So excited as I never thought I could take a pro out
