How sucky would JTdd be there? LOL hit the one outer on the river that makes you pay him off!
I don't like whole line of raising pre and then checking the flop AND the turn. At no time do you gain any extra information to define his hand.
It is a messed up board but I am generally calling any flop action he creates, within reason. So I would much rather be the aggressor here. But then stack sizes make me reconsider as well. Anything above a half pot bet basically prices me in for an all in on the flop or possibly the turn.
I am right in assuming he is on the button? The river card sucks, his pot bet on the river reeks of ultimate monster hand or complete steal. Everything sucks about this hand. But I still get it all in on the river card. KK, QQ, KQ, Q9, JTdd all have you beat. And I'm quickly eliminating KK and QQ from his hand range.
What was the click tells like?

he limped utg
i ruled out AA/KK/QQ because he didn't lead on flop or turn.
the reason i didn't bet the flop or turn is because i was comitting myself, which i hated. i was prepared to give it up to aggression.
Q9 i ruled out because it was utg.
nut flushes are in his range sometimes. AT is there a lot of the time as well i think. JTdd is there although that would be sick.
checks on flop and turn were pretty quick, then he instapots river.
dead set, i told myself in my head "oh super gay, he has KQ here. can he have any other hand that beats me? Q9 would be sick. nah, its gotta be just KQ. cant fold though"
KQ was the only hand that made sense to me, and this might sound silly, but in a live scenario, i may have even folded. but i just couldnt bring myself to do it here, especially since it is a $6 turbo SNG.
sure enough he had it.

Guys, he can't have JTdd here,

If you had a bigger stack I'd definitely be betting the turn cos you have the Jd. That board is really meh, with a stack just under 20bb I might be content to just ship this pre as boards like this/stacks are just eww on later streets.
My first thought on the river was KQ too, like Garth said this is a monster or air, especially with a pot bet. That said, I doubt I am folding here, and I probably open shove the turn.

What about A 10?
I agree with AA/QQ/KK being unlikely. If he flopped a monster and checked with the intention of check-raising then I don't think he would also check the turn. By the river, based on the action, I can't see too many plausible hands that have you beat, so definitely calling.
It'd be weird if he played KK, KQ, QJ, Q9 like that you got beat. Outcome?

Ghey! I think he played that like a dog and got VERY fortunate with that river card. He would have got calls from a variety of made hands on the river. He's either a genius or plain bad.

i give him credit for checking the turn. he didn't need to bet it because he could still easily get me all in by the river. the flop check was kinda bad though i think, its a very drawy board. if only he had fired, i prolly would have given up

and limping utg then calling a raise from utg+1 with KQo is just plain horrible. but meh

Yep +1. opp flop play was rather iffy,
unless he put you on QQ+ or any under pair? esp Aces he might have been playing for the chk-raise? what do you think HIS view of YOU was, or what he ranged you at after the your PFR? But, playing with fire most of the time... And if he had you on QQ+ why call pre? So: unlikely
What did you range him at on the turn? maybe having a poke there wouldnt have been too bad an idea (also why Aaron said)... Of course in retro it wouldnt have worked, but hopefully if you 1/2 potted (?) and he'd raised you dont lose your stack but his turn check makes me suspect he would have flatted any turn bet you made.
As for your line, what else can you really do, except perhaps represent a Q/flush on the turn? But yeah, crappy river (actually turn? cos no 2nd Q u got him)...
When I first read the HH, I was so hoping he had AT or AXdd.... UL
@AceLosesPants, did you lose a bet

Nah, like the new name... I thought exactly same thing about benny the cunt being dealt Jd, bit surprised first 2 posts overlooked...

i figured, with a limp utg then calling a raise, the KQ9 board pretty much smacks his range in the face. so by him checking twice, i figured he was either on a monster, or he had a worse underpair that wouldn't call a bet.
either way, i dont think betting accomplishes much, because i think that TT folds, and everything else has me crushed. i was pretty happy to check-fold after that board came out. that might be a bit nitty, but i really dont see how someone limp-calls utg and doesnt hit that board.
