So I was UTG with AJ right...

Fold AJ from UTG dude. As played, I probably fold after all that action.

Fair enough what does his weak bet on the turn mean? I am surely getting odds to call at a bare minimum.

Do you feel like raising at any point? No? Then you are most likely behind. You beat like nothing of his value betting range here, unless villian is extremely aggressive you are behind.

You've either got him smashed as he has KK, or you've walked into a flopped set.

Playing AJo OOP is always going to end in heartache tho.

Yeah depending on the villain here i might do different things. Against a tight villain i would most likely fold pre, or definately on the flop.

Against an aggressive player then it becomes muddier. I might even lead out again on the turn and see what happens. If i get flatted then he's probably pretty worried and i can prob get to showdown cheap. If i get raised again i can let it go there.

Hell on occasions against extreme aggro's who might follow up on the flop with a hand like TT-QQ, or a weaker ace, i might even check/call turn and river - you do have a bluff catcher type of a hand (although its very doubtful he is bluffing here). You pretty much only beat AT sooted and pocket pairs.

Against most players, im mucking AJ OOP against a re-raise, but especially in 6-max, i think raising AJ UTG is fine. At least your not limping...
