Flop:

I bet 200. Opp raises to 500. I re raise him all in for 2000. After 2 minutes, he calls (after nearly folding).

He turns over

Turn:

River:

Sigh.

Later on in the night, dealt

Flop:

Bet 1000. Opp calls.

Turn:

Opp bets 1000, I re raise him to all in. He calls.

He turns over

River: Nothing that helped me and I wanted to die.

LOL that is a BAD BEAT NIGHT

The first guy could also have been (a donkey) willing to (risk ending his tourney &) go all in post flop on a flush draw (more than 33% chance that he will hit that over the next 2 cards) -do you find you stirke that more in pubs or on-line?

I like to avoid all in too early if I have a straight yet there is a pair or 2 the same suit out there or more cards to come; of course it's not always possible and with hindsight......
I find straights good but often beaten like this.

Of course there is no right answer apart from are you happy with the way you played your cards and/or what would you change next time.

Every time I wipe out it's a bad beat to me. LMAO

There was a flush draw there too, I raised 2000 because I didn't see him calling with 4 hearts - that flush scared me, and I wanted everyone out of the pot. When he flipped over KJ I knew I was a very strong chance to take the pot.
