Good Beat story

Postby andy_thomas » Thu Nov 22, 2007 9:40 am

There was a girl at Modbury last night, think her name was Kelly. I was sitting to her left all night until there was about 15 runners left and we were split up. Anyway, I got to read her game pretty well.

We started to get down to the business end of things, blinds 1k/2k, i've got about 10k left, she had about 15k.

I'm BB, she's SB, she calls the 1k, I look at my cards (suits not required):

[qs] [5d]

I check.

Flop comes over:

[qd] [5h] [3s]

She checks, I bet 1k, she calls.

Turn:

[10c]

She checks, I bet 2k, she calls.

River:

[5c]

She checks, I bet 3k, she thinks about it and says.. "Well, you bluffed me last time" and calls

Would've been a crappy story if it weren't for the last part :D

(I raised her 4k on the river when there was a straight out there, only needed a 10 or something, I didn't even have a pair and she folded)
