You're a Bunch of Factors

Another feel good story! Gotta keep Alex happy seeing as he promotes my rants more than the website itself.

I hit some cards last night to jag 4th at the Palais.

Early on AJ suited lost to AA obviously, but I rebounded.
77 held against 22.
AJ beat AQ.
AQ suited beat AK and 99 (I think, something like that anyway).
Got JJ on the big blind (6k) when all I had was 9k! That was sweet.
AJ beat 1010 with a J on the river.

Alas I tried to semi bluff on the turn when we were 4 handed with middle pair and a gutshot straight draw. Shame the guy hit top pair on the turn. GG me. But I did well to get to 4th after being at 1300 at the first break, with no more drink cards. I should get short stacked more often.

Going to try something different tonight. Going to try to not cash in a card until the 3rd blind level (100/200). Seeing as I do better as a short stack I going to play as one from the beginning. It's something out of the ordinary, but I'm bored

i only made one stupid move last night calling with 73 calling there bluff dam i was so worng. i hate it u make 1 stuff up and u cost ur self the night

turn comes Q

SB checks, BB checks, i check, 2 bets 1k, sb + bb fold, i call

turn comes out K

i check, 2 bets 1k, i go all in for 3k (well and truly beat if he calls)

he thought about it for about 2 minutes and reluctantly folded. i duly showed my bluff just to make him feel worse he said he folded K8

If i do things like that I get insta-called!
