ive got a feeling hes paying off 888 the way he was hitting on the final table, might just have to not play when he is, just luck not good play.

Why would I bet the turn when I obviously have the best hand? The 4 on the turn changed my play. If it was a brick I think I was probably shoving the turn. If BB has K4, KK or QQ, the only hands that beat me, so be it. I'm never folding here.

I would love a flush to get there on the river and then get paid. I would also love a 4% hand to commit himself and not be able to fold to my shove. That's exactly what happened. If I had led/shoved the turn instead of checking, it becomes very easy for the others players to fold draws/weak pairs with the board now paired.

Ignore the fact I lost, I played the hand perfectly to get the result I wanted. All the chips in the middle as a 96% favourite. I left him rope and he proceeded to hang himself.

Why would I possibly want him to fold? Incase he hits a 2 outer on me?

LOL.

You three bet OOP into me (who has a six to one chip lead over nearest competitor). I'm on the button. I hit trips on the flop, BTW I have 78s and I will take that against your 3bet range any day of the week when I am in position.

The board pairs and is flushing and you still snap off my FOUR bet all in on the flop.

LOL i would love an explanation. I knew your raising range was very wide, usually any Ace etc. However your call to the re-raise on the flop, was pretty poor IMO, you could argue backdoor flush, Ace high might be good.

Pretty understandable calling the turn, only 1k left and 8k in the pot.
