Yeah but only two hands are in play here. I pick one, then you have to pick one of the other two. Most know that ducks have a slight preflop edge over AKo, but i certainly didnt know that JTs was in front of 22, and by (relatively) quite a bit in what i almost thought was a straight flip.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 53.979% 53.28% 00.70% 912248 12043.50 { JsTs }
Hand 1: 46.021% 45.32% 00.70% 775969 12043.50 { 2c2d }
In the actual scenario i can never actually be a favourtie, but if i take AKo, then you will only have a slight advantage when you pick 22 in response. If i pick 22 (you would pick JTs) and if i pick JTs (you would pick AKo) then you have a bigger edge over my chosen hand compared to my 22 against AK.
Ill let you choose 1 of 3 hands

Jesus H Christ, let the people 2 hours behind have a chance to get home from work, and pick an answer before someone spoils it.
You bastards.
I was thinking J,10 in a 3 handed situation more from the AK vs 22 being a reg coinflip situation.
Another subtle reason, is in Manila 7's and up, J 10 is the most profitable hand as it goes into every straight. More profitable than aces. So gives it an interesting position.
Even with AK falling on a flop, the j 10 has a chance to spike the queen on the turn and the river to take down the pot.
the 2's are always looking for a 2 to fall to set it up.
The j 10, has the 6 outs to make a pair then it has the cards that can go in to make up a straight.
So unless it gets royally stuffed on the flop it will still have opportunities on the turn and the river to stay alive.

Havent read whole thread, but sounds a bit like a trick question.....?
AKo v JTs --- AKo ahead
JTs v 22 ---- JTs ahead
AKo v 22 ---- 22 ahead
I think id probably take the 22, JT is further behind AK than 22 is behind JTs

Re: Ill let you choose 1 of 3 hands
I am really struggling to approach this from a logical problem solving standpoint.
Mensa members would be assploding about now.
AK beats JT
JT beats 22
BUT
22 can beat AK but it can't beat JT, yet AK beats JT, so therefore if 22 can beat AK shouldn't it be able to beat JT considering that AK beats JT?
LMAO

You can't use logic in that way, each hand is a separate event
It's similar to saying a cat likes fish, and fish like water, so therefore cats like water - it's not valid to draw those conclusions
I don't know much deeper that - there are whole uni subjects on that crap

Chooses not to respond to those who have no sense of humor and decides to take everything seriously but ..............
your example in above post is redundant, we are talking about comparitive starting hand strengths not nature of objects or environmental responses to different species.
There are tons of (problem solving) questions that are run along the same theory as above, such as if J is stronger than B but B is stronger than C how much can C pick up etc........
