Yeah how come you didn't push earlier AK? Or did you lose a hand or two earlier and get left with an extremely short stack?

Pushed 99 from UTG+1 hand before. BB (blinds were 5k/10k at the time) had 10k behind, and called with As2s. So can't blame the call. He backed into a flush. Including blinds and antes, that was a 50k pot.

Left crippled, 20k at 7k/14k. Really I knew that I didn't even need to look, but the fact that they were connected was enough to ship it in.

there is a difference between playing too many hands, and playing too aggressively.

i definitely don't play too many hands. my VPIP is around 26%, which is semi-loose, but it is not "too many". i raise with around 9% of hands, which is also not too many. my overall aggression factor is around 3, so that is not too high.

matthew is right, i overplay busted draws, and play too aggressively against passive players.

at least i know that my poker game needs improving
