We all know how bad the suckouts are getting on 888 so i thought i would start this topic up for us all to share those bad beats and river suckouts.
My worst was on a cash table around 3 months ago sitting on 8d 7d i saw a flop of 9d 6d 10d obviousley checked it to get action from 1 player both all in after the flop he shows Ad Kd for the turn of Qd Jd $75in the pot needless to say i was a little devistated.
The second was in omaha around 2 weeks ago hold 88rag rag saw a flop of 8c 10c 7d i bet out 2 callers turn 9s more action river 9c 3 way all in i have 8 full figuring 9 full have me beat but still gotta play it. 1 player shows quad 9's the second shows Qc Jc for the queen high str8 flush

Neither of the hands are really bad beats. Unlucky though....
Bad beat is first hand of the final able in an FTP $24+2 (approx 1000 runners)
Dealt to me AA in the BB
UTG moves all in (has me covered)
I SNAP CALL.... (snap click)
He shows QQ...
Flop A 7 7
Turn Q
River Q
That will happen less that 1 in a million times

The difference in prize money - 200ish but could have me 2500ish....

Good beat for me at Brahma Lodge last night, when my QQ flopped a set against AA and KK

(sorry Matty!)

My best or should I say worst is when I shoved on the button with ace 3 suited trying to buy the blinds and got called by big blind who had pocket aces.
Flop a33
turn 3
I have never felt so bad. But this guy just went ahh well that is poker. He just focused on getting back up in chips and went on to win the tournament. I thought at the time wow that guy is a real pro as he had had a few bad beats leading up to the win and never let it phase him once. I am trying to be more like this

It's a great mindset to have. Unfortunately tilt is ruining my game as well at the moment.

Give you an idea of my day.
I had pocket kings flushed on the river by ace 7. Out of that tournament
Next Ace king on a board of A7J get rivered by ace 6.
Ace queen on a board of Q 2 7 all in called by queen jack and you guessed it jack on the river.
Or my favorite I call the all in of 8 4 suited with ace queen . I was short stacked after the last hand and had been patiently waiting for something to gamble with. Hit the queen on the flop he rivers the flush.
All in all was not a good day

** side note in all of these hands I was all in on the flop except for the last which was pre flop

thanks for that. I tend to remember the times I have sucked out as I do feel really bad later. I think I will take a break from poker for a little while as I am killing my bank roll at the moment ( once I finish this tournament I am in first though

). I am starting to doubt my play and have lost a lot of confidence which is never good. A break will I hope help me find a clearer vision of where I am heading and make more sensible moves. Also I hoping to become better with my bankroll management so it is back to grinding when I do come back.
