Let's make it a thread worthy topic shall we? Do you guys use the chatbox while playing to gain an advtange of any kind? I sometimes use reverse psycology in the chatbox like when I have the nuts - I overbet the pot and then when the other person is thinking I say "call" in the chatbox.
Also do you think a bit of sledging works in your favour or against you?

Hardly use the chatbox. Takes the focus away from the game if you are trying to think of something witty to say.
Mind you can have fun with it, got called a bot once, and then i finally chat abused teh guy, and started to tell rude jokes. Was thinking i am either going to get chatbanned or chatwarned.
Overall, i hate chat, people try and influence decisions, and then other times it just inane ramblings.
Mind you i will say NH, or gg when it is dictated.
My 2c,
Brett

Hahaha, I've said a lot worse in my 'flaming' days...I just curse for real now (parents get worried sometimes) and stay away from the chatbox in those situations...

So you are min-raising UTG+1 with QJ offsuit. Then after getting re-raised, and another caller, you flat. Yet you complain?

Yes but in the second hand you posted you had position, which obv makes it a lot easier. The QJ hand was horrible. A bad beat, but bad play also. You got lucky, but its a bad habit to get into trying to play QJ OOP against two players every time.
