I heard a whisper at the state final that Coles owned venues are going to have their own final for the top 10-15 at each venue where they would get together and play out for prizes.
Vegas ticket and substantial cash were told to be on offer

looks like a trip to VEGAS will be on offer this season.
grandjunction,waterloo,paynham and the brighton hotels top 15 from each venue will play off in a tourny at brighton where the winner will win a trip to vegas.

prizes for mondays are $50 voucher for first
a bottle of spirits for second
$25 voucher for third

I wonder if Coles are doing a backdoor on the NPL

Nothing of the sort, These venues have being running similar promotions last season. They have just decided to pool their resources and offer all players that support there venues an exceptional prize.
I might add that several venues and hotel groups also held their own finals last season.
Numerous venues and groups are now seeing the added benefit that NPL brings to their business, so they are willing to support and value add as much as possible.

It looks like i might have to play at the metro a bit more this season.

They will be listed once the promotion has been fully finalized, which should be sometime this week.
