I posted this in original thread, but thought not as many would notice as if I started a new one...
Basically new version, you enter tournament start time, not the time you want to reg, and it will unregister you if you not there 15 minutes before start time.
Edit: Only downloads available are on p8 of original topic, or new v3 topic

Re: Tourney Auto Reg v2
I have a question.....
Doesn't this defeat the purpose of having that 2 hour limit for registrations which was there to stop the tournies filling up stupidly fast?

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

pete
niche market useage,
niche exposure only to those on this forum
the mass filling up of the tournys i suggest has now waned
dead stacks will now be somewhat minimized by using this routine , deregistering function I think could even be lessened to say 5 minutes as Ive arrived home tried to register five minutes before or arrive five/ten minutes past the starting time.
case , Ive arrived home 10.05 pm on a Monday night tried to register for the SA 10-30 pm was full 150 runners , however while foruming registrations dropped to 149 and then immediately I logged in and managed to obtain a spot , this has happen a second time while initally registrations are full , Ive mananged to squeeze in at least one other time.
congrats. Aaron on your skill and initiative and making it available to those who wish to use it and find it helpful.

Re: Tourney Auto Reg v2
As Bruce said, it was only meant to help those who dont get a chance to register until the tourney is well full, because of work etc. If you read through the other thread, I said I didnt intend this to be used by all (but cant prevent that), only those as above...
Being a mod pete, once I have the final version up (soon), you could remove the first one, then there will be NO extra deadstacks, and people taking up seats others could use...
