Postby Garth Kay » Wed Jun 03, 2009 1:15 pm

Hi Guys,

I am after some favourable quotes on your thouhgts and experiences on 888PL thus far.

These will be included in a presentation to the 888 GM as well as possibly used in marketing materials.

Favourable?

- The integration of online poker and pub poker is awesome. Really changes the aspect of the game.
-888pl is offering more prizes than ever.

That's all the favourable quotes I've got.

Can't think of much more than what Aaron already said.

It definitely opens up a lot more possibilities for the typical pub poker player.

It's emotional.

hehe
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

- Online play leads to less suspensions due to the fact its not possible to yell in someone's face when their Q4 beats your KK.

Interestingly, the first thing that springs to mind when I hear "888PL" is online poker. I have to remind myself that it incorporates the live pub events, too.

- The ease at which people can participate in the league, via the online events aspect

- Huge prize pools on offer

- League events online during the day, which has been great on the days I've been able to play.

- OMAHA

- Gave Dave and I an excuse to revamp the forum :)

On the down side - 888PL owes me 3 monitors and 7 keyboards ...

More hands played.
No waiting for someone to shuffle.
Not having to explain to them what a raise is and why they can't make it 250 from 200.

And just for Scott, providing a much needed injection to the electronics industry.

Being able to play for something meaningful for free, without having to play a 5 hour freeroll, at home is awesome.

Depriving me of sleep for the past few nights is not :(

Being able to rail mates during the same tourney we're playing.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Not having to interact with the dregs.
