888pl buyin game lunchtime today getting near to the conclusion of the game, 8 runner left.

I take down the pot thus doubling up and taking out sweetemmz and grandkidsrul leaving 6 left.

Almost immediatly I am disconnected from 888 server and the connection box appears and the going through the connection process light flashing etc after afew minutes a box pops up saying somthing like unable to connect if problem continues contact player services, my next option is to close down the game and relog on, I close down and relog on same message appears. I try it 3 more times for the same result.

During the process I check to see if my internet connection is active and can connect to other sites and ensure that no other connections are active at the time.

It took approximatly 11 1/2 minutes to reconnect to the 888 server, costing me almost my entire stack.

I'm not suggesting I would have won but I would have liked to think I would have cashed considering some of the premium hand I received.

In saying that, just because you can get to a few websites doesn't mean it's the 888 server either.

i was railing you Gundog ,
i too lost connection had to reboot site and laptop to get back and see anything ,
initial thought isp/server/offline.
cus i get 99/100% connection nearly all log ons.

before you jump to conclusions, sometimes if your wireless internet is intermittent, you will still be able to access websites, but connecting and maintaining connections with servers is another matter.

every time you drop out of connection for even a sec, it would have to reconnect, which takes time

you probably wouldn't even notice it with a webpage, and it would still load ok. i have had this problem not with wireless internet, but with a wireless router - if connection strength is low, web pages load up fine, but server connections dont like it.

Couple of things here....

David is exactly correct.

Having said that, if others were also disconnected (Bruce?) then it may well be their server or something to do with it.

Also, no point telling us forumers unless you're asking if any1 else had the same problem.

Email 888 and CC it to Garth and obviously it will help if you can list other usernames that experienced the same problem.
