So last night i watched a few older episodes of Poker after Dark season 5.
Episode 25 was about a dude that won a 4000 runner tourney on FT, then beat a Pro heads up to qualify
He had his buy in (20k) paid for and got to choose his Dream 6 max sng, winner take all (120k)
Now this bloke chose Johnie Chan, Mike Matasow, Jeinnifer Tilley, Phil Laak and Danniel Negranue.
Turns out he came 3rd and last i saw it was heads up between chan and tilley.
Got me thinking though, put your self in the same posiotion who would you choose.
My team would be - Negranue, Durr, Cunningham, Ivey and Doyle.
Because its my thread i will include my second squad.
Hansen, Helmuth, Laak, Chan and Haschem.
Who would you choose ?
and would you choose your ultimate squad or stack it a bit to improve you chances at the 120k US.

Re: Poker Dream Team
depends what you want out of it.
Ivey, Antonius, Benyamine, Durrr, Hansen.
Could probably replace Hansen with Deeb.
Is it a cash game i.e No blind changes or tournament structure? haven't watched after dark for a while. And i guess the answer could change the dynamics of the question.

Re: Poker Dream Team
they have run both formats but this particular game was a 6 player Sit and Go.
20k buy in - 1 winner

Re: Poker Dream Team
Stick with the same answer. High profile, prolific winners. Prefer cash games to tournaments. So less risks being taken on their part.
Then again, knowing i could beat those 5 guys. Definite brag.

Re: Poker Dream Team
Depends if you were going for the win or want to play with your idols. I assume there was an option to take the 20k/play the tourny, as Tilt offers that choice for every other package. So if you take the trip, we can assume that you either:
- Know you're going to lose.
- Want to have the time of your life.
- Are extremely overconfident.
If I was playing for fun, I'd go Ivey, Tony Dunst, Durr, Hansen and Matusow. I doubt that line up would actually happen, but boy would that be totally awesome.
