OK most of have had this conversation and the most common answers people come up with are 56 suited, 67 suited or 78 suited (with the suit being live against the suits of our opponents aces)
But which one is really the best?
(p.s. please please please resist the urge to use an odds calculator to work this out, and if you know, bote and keep quiet for a while, i dont wanna spoil it)

I've always known the answer to be 7-8 suited.
But all the books will say a MID Suited Connector. So i guess that can mean a few options. but i agree 8-9 is not correct because you lose one straight option.
K Q J 10
on this case the 9 has the sucker end vs the Ace.

hello from an internet cafe in kuala lumpur!!
its 78 suited. they are the highest cards possible that can make a straight that that ace can't beat - i.e the queen high straight
i am guessing that 56 suited and 67 are pretty close, but there would be more times that they would get counterfeited with their house or 2 pair.
