For those of you unaware we have a few TD's through to Day 2 of this event:

Glyn Parsons (SA)
Nathan Butler (SA)
Michael Ratnik (Vic)

I also saw that Chris Fullwood (NPL Players - 18th in Aussie Millions ME) made it through.

Should be a good day for railing.

And I have now decided I hate work, had to be in SA when AM was on, had to be in SA when JHDS was on and had to be in Vic when Adelaide champs was on.

Ridiculous, I am definitely playing in the Melb champs, unless Butler ships this event then I am quitting poker and taking up knitting and selling my wonderful sweaters on ebay.

Fullwood Can't See The Forest For The Trees

Written by blanklacholland, 2009 03 22 01:29 pm EST

National Poker League's poster boy Chris Fullwood has been eliminated.

The player under the gun made it 3,700 to go, but Fullwood, in his usually aggressive short-stack style, pushed all-in from the cut-off for 19,000. His opponent insta-called, turning over {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, well ahead of Fullwood's {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop brought {Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, opening up a few more opportunities for Fullwood. However when the board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Fullwood was out the door.

Butler is up to 144K, he got a fantastic second day draw with a table that his chips stack dominates, he is 3 to 1 on chips on his nearest rival and the majority of his opponents are well under the average. 4 of them started today under the starting stack

Glyn doubled through to 66k when his 88 was in a race against AK and he flopped a set.

Nathan around 150K again after having his AA smashed by QQ. And making a hero donk call with A high.

Ratnik out after flopping top two with T9, on a T, 9, 2 board, all the chips went into the middle.
Opponent had T,2 and the turn bought the deuce. OUCH!
